Riviera Nayarit is located on the migratory path of hundreds of birds, it is the perfect place to observe and recognize many birds species. The existence of a great variety of habitat, long stretches of beaches, estuaries surrounded by mangroves, lagoons, rivers and many types of vegetation makes the best landscape for our encounter with the birds.

Recommended for those who enjoy seeing the birds in freedom at home.

DESCRIPTION: Picking up in San Pancho. The first sighting spot is by the beach next to the estuary, the second sighting spot is by the mountains. Duration 3 hours.

WHALE WATCHING

WHALE WATCHING

One of the biggest tourist attractions in the Riviera Nayarit is without questions the arrival of the humpback whale (Megaptera novaeangliae). Every year in one of the largest migratory journeys in the animal kingdom, the humpback whale travels thousands of miles to reach the warm coasts of Nayarit to perform mating and nursing activities. Considered one of the most acrobatic mammals, the humpback whale amazes us with their displays of power.

A tour recommended especially for nature lovers.

DESCRIPTION: Picking up in San Pancho. 30 min. car drive to Punta de Mita where we board the boat. Two hours whale watching from our boat. Duration 3 hours.

Recommendations: To bring sun glasses, hat, sunscreen, bathing suit and towel.

ALTAVISTA PETROGLYPHS

One of the most important archeological sites gives our guests the opportunity to visit an authentic museum in the middle of the tropical forest. More than 2000 figures carved in stone shows the ancient culture. The tecoxquines, ancient inhabitants, they worked in volcanic rock symbols concerning health, fertility, rain, planting, their offerings and prayers for the wellness of the community. Nowadays still a very important place for different indigenous groups. A place full of magic and peace that will take you through time.

DESCRIPTION: Picking up in San Pancho. 40min car drive. Two hours hike through the forest. Duration: 4 hours approximately.

One of the towns with more history around the area, San Blas has been the scene and protagonist of countless stories and legends. During the viceroyalty of the New Spain was the most important port of the Western Pacific. .

La Tovara is a spring which gives rise to a natural fresh water pond in the middle of an estuary. The area is very extensive full of natural canals through the jungle. It is a very important place for nesting and shelter of many species, as well for the natural balance of ecosystems. .

DESCRIPTION: Picking up in San Pancho. Two hours car drive to get there. One hour smooth boat ride. Lunch (not included). Duration 6 to 7 hours.

Recommendations: To bring hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, bathing suit and towel.

We will take you to the church, the town square, the organic coffee plantations, the house museum of Doña Conchita and the Raicilla distillery.

CEREMONIAL CENTER TAMOANCHAN

Close to the fishing village of Chacala right on the coastline of the Riviera Nayarit. Tamoanchan is a ceremonial center nestled in the Western Sierra Madre Mountains Range, between valleys and steep mountains. Away from any city and town. For more than ten years it has been a study center of different spiritual traditions, where different rituals and ceremonies take place such as the Vision Quest, Sun Dance, Star Dance, Medicine Ceremonies and Sweat Lodge. A place to remember and honor the memory of our ancestors through art, painting, poetry, chanting, dancing, on altars in rituals and ceremonies.

DESCRIPTION: Picking up in San Pancho. One hour and thirty minutes car drive to get there. Hike around the temples and murals. Duration 4 to 5 hours.

Recommendations: To bring long pants, walking shoes, hat, sunglasses, mosquito repellent, bathing suit and towel.
